From Bluffton/Hilton Head: From 278, turn right on 170 towards Beaufort. Follow this for about 8 miles until you reach the stoplight at Snake Road (Callawassie General Store, a gas station, is to your right). Turn right and follow 1.2 miles to the Callawassie Island entrance.
From Beaufort: Head south on Highway 170 towards Bluffton. Continue on 170 for 6.8 miles, crossing the Broad River and Chechessee River bridges. At the stoplight for Snake Road (Callawassie General Store, a gas station, is on the left) turn left and follow 1.2 miles to the Callawassie Island entrance.
The address for the Callawassie/Spring Island entrance is 174 Callawassie Dr. Okatie, SC 29909. Check in there with security for your gate pass and directions to the nursery.
Currently more than 100 species of plants are grown and available for sale in their season. Sales are typically held in April and October. Subscribe to receive notification by email of upcoming sales.

We are offering over 100 species of native plants for purchase by pre-order and pick-up. Order deadline is Tuesday, April 9. Plant pick-up at the Spring Island Native Plant Project Nursery at 20 Littleneck Crossing, Okatie, SC 29909 on Saturday, April 13 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Cash or check only.
All proceeds benefit the Spring Island Trust, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
